Istanbul Dried Fruits and Products Exporters Association has attended with an info-stand to the one of the biggest fairs in the food sector, ANUGA fair, which has been held between 07-11 October 2017 for the 34rd time in the City of Cologne, Germany. ANUGA fair, whose Turkish national participation was organized by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, has brought many potential sellers, buyers and partners worldwide which do operate in almost every commodity group of the food sector together in Koelnmesse fair area. 7.405 firms from 107 country has attended to the fair which has been held in an area of 284.000 m2 . In the fair Istanbul Dried Fruits and Products Exporters Association was represented by the board chairman Muhsin ÇAKICI , vice chairman Didem ELMAS  and the board member Mahmut Ramiz BALIK. T.C Köln Consul Hüseyin Emre ENGIN and Consulate General of Duesseldorf Trade Attache Mustafa Hilmi Aşkın have visited all the participants in the Turkish pavilyon while delivering participation certificates and expressing his appreciations with regard to the high level of participation.
 
ANUGA 2017 fair which was highly visited by the pioneers of the world's dried fruits and products exporters and importers has offered remarkable advantages to the import potential of dried nuts and fruits sector. The fair which has hosted both exhibitors and visitors mostly from abroad has brought together nuts and fruits products with the national and international buyers. At Our info stand which was met by high level of interest from the participants for five days, promotion and information activities were held for Turkish nuts and fruits products like dried apricots, pistachios, almond, roasted chickpeas, walnuts  at the same time new opportunities for internal and international partnerships were provided. The fair was visited by 165.000 visitors from 198 country, the fair was beneficial in the sense that it has provided opportunity for watching new products, concepts and trends in food sector while providing Turkish dried fruits sector with the opportunities of developing bilateral relations and establishing new partnerships for long-term basis. It is expected from Dried Fruits and Products Exporters Association - the best Turkish exporters' proxy- to increasingly carry on these kind of organizations which are welcomed by high interest and make affirmative contribution to the success rate of the sector.
