​Organised at Mumbai / India between 22-24 September, world renowned Annapoorna World of Food India 2016 fair hosted 3 establishments from Turkey, as well as over 700 exhibitors and more than 15.000 visitors in an area of gross 35.000 m².
In the fair many countries participated in with multiple companies, Istanbul Dried Fruits and Exporters Association (KUMIB) had the ear of visitors with its new corporate identity and logo.
The product demands and contact details of the visitors are stored during the fair to be announced to our members, on the purpose of engendering both national and international business relations. In the fair Members of the Board Mr Ali Eyüp Elban and Mr Ülkü Cemiloğlu represented Istanbul Dried Fruits and Exporters Association. In addition, during the fair Turkish Consul General in Mumbai Mr Erdal Sabri Ergen and Turkish Commercial Attaché in Mumbai Mr Salih Ünver visited our info stand.
Within the scope of the 2023 export goal of Dried Fruits and Products Sector, quite important for increasing export volume and being the gateway to Indian market, Annapoorna World of Food India 2016 fair has been productive in means of strengthening our products’ status both in Indian and worldwide markets, as well as monitoring new trends and augmenting long-term bilateral relations for Turkish dried fruit sector.
